Accommodation in Ruthin
Ruthin, an attractive little town in a most delightful situation in the vale of Clwyd, some 7 miles S. of Denbigh. Ruthin has the remains of a castle built by Edward I. It is now restored and used as a nursing home and is not open to the public.
There is also an interesting old church, the north aisle of which dates back in part to the twelfth century. Noteworthy are the oak roof in this aisle, with its varied carving. In St. Peter's Square, the heart of Ruthin, there is an attractive fourteenth-century building with three storeys of Dormer windows.
